Your Credit Card Security

When you place an order with Savage X Lacrosse, we do not see or have access to your credit card information. This includes your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV. Our e-commerce platform (Shopify) handles all payment processing securely through its integrated payment gateways, which means sensitive customer data like credit card numbers are not exposed to store owners.

Here’s What Happens

Payment Gateway: When you make a purchase, the credit card details are processed securely by Shopify's payment system or a third-party payment gateway (such as PayPal, Stripe, etc.).

Tokenization: The payment gateway uses a process called tokenization, where the actual credit card number is replaced with a secure token or reference ID. This token is then used for transaction verification.

Privacy & Security: Savage X Lacrosse follows strict security protocols, such as PCI DSS compliance, to ensure that customer credit card details are kept private and protected during the transaction process.

While we do see the transaction details (such as the amount, product details, and shipping information), we **do not** have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment information. This helps maintain customer privacy and ensures compliance with industry security standards.

Fraud Notification or Risk Assessment

Occasionally, we may receive notifications from our ecommerce platform indicating that an order displays signs of potential fraud. For instance, this could happen if the billing address provided in the order does not match the one on file with the credit card company. In such cases, we will reach out to you for clarification.
